About the event

June 5 is the feast day of the Christian missionary Boniface, who destroyed the sacred Oak of Dunner and desecrated the shrines of Jecha, Stuffo, and Lohra/Lare. On this day, we think of the lesser-known deities or those who remain unknown to us due to these actions. We invite those of other traditions to share in the remembrance of their less-known deities whose temples or shrines were destroyed through evangelism and forced conversion. This is loosely organized by a member of  Urglaawe (Deitsch or Pennsylvania German Heathenry). Follow this link to a suggested ritual outline, and feel free to substitute any deities you wish to honor.
