"Do I Have to Wear Black?" Examines Pagan Traditions and Their Practices Related to Death and Dying

My friend, fellow Pagan and professional mortician Mortellus has an interesting book set to be released in February 2021, and I'm thrilled to have contributed a little on grief and chaplaincy. Titled Do I Have to Wear Black? Rituals, Customs and Funerary Etiquette for Modern Pagans, the book looks at various Pagan traditions and their beliefs and rituals around death and dying. I was fortunate to contribute about grieving as a Pagan as well as working as a Pagan chaplain.

"Grief and death are difficult topics for our society, and this is true even for some Pagans. It was important to contribute to this book because I know there are resources and support available for Pagans, and I wish I had known that in the midst of my own grief. By sharing what I've learned, I hope it helps someone who is in pain and feels alone."

Congrats to Mortellus on the forthcoming publication, and order your copy here!
