Honor Your Ancestors with a Donation to New Orleans' Day of the Dead Celebration
Friends, my spiritual community in New Orleans (La Source Ancienne Ounfo) is raising funds for the Day of the Dead/Fet Ghede celebration on November 1, 2022. Sponsored by the New Orleans Healing Center, the celebration will include altar displays, a market, and a Vodou ceremony to invoke the Ghede. It is soothing and reassuring to know that our Dead are not gone, but that we can come together in community to honor and visit them. I've made my own contribution and hope you will, too! Consider this as a way to honor your own ancestors.
